Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting

 

Anastasia has experience in managing complex projects, conducting policy analysis, and supporting civil society in Ukraine. Monitors, evaluates and prepares reports on the progress of reforms in Ukraine in accordance with international commitments.

From 2016 to 2023, she worked for the international human rights organisation Freedom House in Ukraine. She coordinated the full cycle of human rights project management and the work of the Kyiv office, collaborating with Ukrainian and international partners and government structures in Ukraine, the United States, and the European Union. As interim director in 2021–2022, she led Freedom House’s office in Ukraine during a period of dual challenges: a leadership transition and the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion.

In 2023–2025, she worked with ZMINA Human Rights Centre, supporting the development of international partnerships and the organisation’s strategic human rights programmes and initiatives.

She graduated with a bachelor’s degree (2013) and a master’s degree (2015) from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (Kyiv, Ukraine), majoring in Political Science. She is a Fulbright Scholar. In 2025, she earned a master’s degree in public administration (MPA) from Cornell University (New York, USA), specialising in infrastructure and technology policy.
