Kateryna Nazarenko
Analyst
Kateryna has experience in coordinating bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and EU countries, developing the legal framework, interacting with UN focal points, and organizing high-level events with the participation of representatives of the Government of Ukraine and international partners.
From 2017 to 2023, she worked at the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine in the field of state aid to undertakings and harmonization of Ukrainian legislation with the EU acquis.
From 2023 to 2025, she held the position of Bilateral Cooperation Expert at the Project Steering Office under the Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine.
She was involved in the preparation of the Rapid Damage and Needs Assessment (RDNA 3, RDNA 4), the implementation of the National Strategy for Creating Barrier-Free Space, and the launch of the ‘Shoulder to Shoulder: Cohesive Communities” project.
In 2024, she participated in the preparations for the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Berlin (URC2024) in the Local and Regional Dimension on behalf of the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine (coordination of stakeholders, organisation of the Inclusive Community Recovery Forum “On the Road to URC”, coordination of the preparation of panel discussions and stands for presentation at the Recovery Forum).
Kateryna holds a Bachelor's degree in Law from Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and a Master's degree in Law from Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University
